Took my new C4 converter out to Sealy yesterday. For the 7.00 tune up that I usually run in the car, my 60ft dropped from a typical 1.53-1.54 to a 1.50. I was afraid the 4500 stall on the brake would be too much, but the car actually move out of the hole on foot brake at 4000 RPM. Shifts at 5600 pulled back about 1100 RPM which is perfect for my motor. Trapped 123 in the 1/4 at 6000 so that equates out to about 5% slip for my combo. I've been running an AOD lockup converter for the last 10 years, but 5% seams good to me.
Thanks for nailing the converter on the 1st try.
